Employment law and apprenticeships: Myers & Co HR lunch
26 May 2016
Following the success of our previous HR lunches, Myers & Co Solicitors in Staffordshire warmly invite you to join us at 12.30pm on Wednesday 15 June for our next free lunch at the Caxton Builders Group at 36 Raymond Street, Stoke-on-Trent.
Stephen Rushton, director of partnerships, and Tim Edwards, Director of Business Development at PM Training, will be joining us to talk about ‘The benefits of apprenticeships and how do they work?’. Stephen will be looking at what financial assistance is available for employers willing to take on apprentices. Tim will be looking at a new apprenticeship levy which will apply to larger employers from April 2017, explaining who it applies to, how it operates and how its effects can be mitigated.
Following the lunch, Stephen and Tim will be offering a tour of PM Training’s impressive apprenticeship training facilities, which include mock bathrooms and bedrooms for their trade apprentices to practice on.
The lunch will be supporting the Realise Foundation with a raffle for prizes such as champagne and chocolates. Please feel free to donate any other prizes.
You may also book a place for a friend or colleague by including their details on the registration form.
