Planning for critical illness
Key person insurance is a form of life insurance policy which provides cover for critical or terminal illness.
This can be taken out by a business to provide a fixed amount of compensation for the loss of a key member of staff and thus provide a degree of financial breathing space to enable the business to source and train replacement personnel.
It is something that should be considered for anyone within your business whose skills set are integral to what you do, such as your managing director or your lead sales director.
