Neil is a solicitor in the commercial property team and advises clients on both commercial and residential property acquisitions and development.
Neil joined Myers & Co in November 2022 after working at numerous law firms across Staffordshire and the West Midlands. He qualified in 1988, bringing over 30 years of experience to the firm.
As well as being a specialist in property acquisition and development, Neil also drafts overage agreements and liaises with corporate colleagues on share purchases. He has experience in handling landlord and tenant matters for commercial and agricultural tenancies, including farm business tenancies.
Recent cases include acting for a national chain of public houses across the UK to manage their lettings and licensed premises, and working for a client who entered into an agreement with another company for the provision of green energy to top up the National Grid.
Neil takes a practical approach to dealing with issues as swiftly and efficiently as possible. He communicates with the client in plain English, eliminating confusing legal terms in a sensible and straightforward manner.
