Last year was a big one for fundraising for the team at Myers & Co Solicitors in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. It was full of exciting events and lots of cake as we supported a wide variety of charities across the country, including both national and local causes.
The final pennies have been counted and in total, through generous support from clients and staff, we raised £2,240 throughout 2018 – a fantastic amount!
‘I am so proud of the entire team’ says Helen Myers, ‘Everyone always gets involved and contributes generously to the collection pot. The money goes to a range of causes which are all close to our hearts.’
The top highlights of the year include the Wear it Pink event for Breast Cancer Research, the extremely competitive Cycle Challenge for Sport Relief and the recent Christmas Jumper Day, in support of Alice Charity. Company bake sales and coffee mornings are also regular events in the office and a great way for our clients to also get involved in the fundraising.

The unstoppable team are not giving their wallets and purses a break this year. ‘We are hoping to raise even more in 2019. We’ve already held a number of events, such as Brew Monday where we raised £80 for the Samaritans,’ Helen added, ‘We want to thank all our clients for their continued support and contributions.’
