Myers & Co Supports North Staffs Prostate Cancer Group as Charity of the Year

At Myers & Co Solicitors, we believe in making a positive difference, not just for our clients, but for our community. That’s why we’re proud to announce our Charity of the Year for 2025: the North Staffs Prostate Cancer Support Group.

Why This Cause Matters

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, affecting 1 in 8 during their lifetime. Early detection and support can make all the difference, and this local charity is dedicated to doing exactly that.

The North Staffs Prostate Cancer Support Group provides:

The group even contributes to ground-breaking research at Keele University, acting as a patient advisory panel for three ongoing projects.

How Myers & Co Is Getting Involved

Our 47-strong team is already planning a year of fundraising activities, from a Halloween tombola to our quirky “laptop lottery”, where every computer in the office has its own lucky number!

Jen Goodwin, our Head of Corporate and Associate Director, explains:

“Every year, we choose a local charity that makes a real impact. Prostate cancer touches so many lives, and the work this group does is incredible. We’re committed to raising funds and awareness throughout the year.”

The Impact of Your Support

Chairman Clive Stevenson, who co-founded the group 20 years ago after his own diagnosis, says the funds will help cover running costs and produce more leaflets to spread vital awareness. That awareness saves lives.
