Whilst we might not have seen football come home at the Euros and Wimbledon has now drawn to a close, our team at Myers & Co have been getting stuck into a Summer of sport, taking part in all sorts of fun activities and doing their bit for charity.
Before our hopes of victory were shattered, the team celebrated the start of the Euros with a penalty shootout and a football themed Pictionary with plenty of snacks. You might not see us in the starting line-up for England any time soon, but a great time was had by all!
Some of our team also took a trip down memory lane as they took part in the first ever ‘It’s Knot a Sports Day’ event. Hosted at Staffordshire University, the day saw the ‘Myers Flyers’ take part in a Relay Race, Hungry Hippos, a Go Kart Race and a Giant Egg and Spoon Race, all in the name of the 10 charities Knots Events supports.
Our ‘Myers Flyers’, made up of Tim Newsome, Sue Hall, Sophie Cundy, Lauren Astbury, Freya Davies, Kalsuma Miah and Jen Goodwin competed and gave it their all! Whilst they didn’t come away with the winning trophy, they proudly finished the day with participation medals and only minor injuries after a great day supporting wonderful causes.

The day was a great opportunity for our team to Make a Positive Difference in their local community, all whilst enjoying a jam-packed day of activities and meeting other businesses across the county.
Knots Events partnered with Bee Active to get businesses across Staffordshire to come together for this nostalgic Summer sports day, and the Swan Physio Team were on hand to provide support and post-race massages in the First Aid tent to help with those rope burns and injured fingers!
