Myers & Co Solicitors are pleased to announce the appointment of a new Head of Corporate.
The law firm, based in Stoke-on-Trent, is part of the MAPD Group (which stands for Making a Positive Difference) and has welcomed Jen Goodwin to the team to take on the new role. Jen is a solicitor specialising in corporate and commercial matters, helping clients with a range of queries surrounding the day-to-day operation of their businesses – from drafting shareholders’ agreements and articles of association to advising clients on sales and acquisitions.
Prior to working in private practice, Jen worked as in-house counsel for a large telecommunications company, managing their litigation team and gaining first-hand experience of business operations, marketing and finance. Jen previously worked for a leading North West firm before joining Jackson Lees Group (part of the MAPD Group) in 2020.
Speaking of her recent internal move to Myers & Co, Jen said: “I’m very excited about my next chapter with the MAPD Group and I am delighted to be taking on the role of Head of Corporate at Myers & Co.
“I see this as an excellent opportunity to grow and build upon our existing corporate and commercial offering, working closely with clients to understand their business and their business needs.”
