We were delighted with the turnout for our HR lunch this October which was held at King Street Studios in Newcastle-under-Lyme. .

Our presentation covered terms and conditions in employment. The seminar highlighted important factors in employment contracts and how these should be adapted to ensure that a business is not at risk at falling foul.

Some of the issues covered included:

  • general contract issues;
  • factors in employment contracts;
  • documents that are not part of the contractual terms; and
  • changing terms and conditions.

The seminar was presented by our Staffordshire based employment solicitor Sarah Everton, head of employment law at Myers & Co Solicitors and the health and safety section was presented by Darren Bedson, managing partner of BPA Services Limited.
