As the year draws to a close and the festive season begins, we’re reflecting on a year of progress, innovation, and community across Staffordshire and South Cheshire at Myers & Co Solicitors.
From legal updates to charitable initiatives, 2025 has been a year of growth and partnership.
Join us as we look back on 12 milestones that shaped our journey this year.
Award-Winning Client Care: This Year We Achieved the Feefo Gold Trusted Service Award
One of our proudest achievements this year was receiving the Feefo Gold Trusted Service Award, a recognition of our unwavering commitment to exceptional client care.
This award is an independent mark recognising businesses that keep an average service rating of 4.5+ from verified genuine client reviews, reflecting the trust our clients place in us every day.

Protecting Ideas & Innovation: Launching ‘Initiate’ with Pure Ideas
This summer we launched Initiate with Pure Ideas.
We built Initiate with Pure Ideas because start‑ups told us they need help on two fronts: company documents and IP. Initiate gives eligible early‑stage businesses both, from day one.
Here’s what you get:
- A free 30‑minute consultation to chart the essentials.
- Discounted fixed‑fee legal services (e.g., incorporation, T&Cs, shareholder agreements).
- IP support (audits, trade marks, designs, strategy) through our partners at Pure Ideas.
If you’re building a business in 2026, Initiate keeps your contracts and IP on the front foot.

Community Impact: £2,500 for UHNM Remembrance Garden
Community is at the heart of everything we do. This year, we donated £2,500 to UHNM Charity to help create a remembrance garden for bereaved families at Royal Stoke University Hospital.
This space will offer comfort and reflection for those experiencing loss, a cause close to our hearts. Supporting UHNM Charity is part of our ongoing commitment to making a positive difference beyond the legal world and within the hearts of the local communities we serve.

We Partnered with Douglas Macmillan Hospice for Free Wills Month
Partnering with Douglas Macmillan Hospice, we created 15 free wills worth £4,050.
We offered free standard Wills to supporters, helping families plan ahead and, where appropriate, pledge gifts that sustain vital local care.

Local Business: The Pronto Delicatessen Acquisition
In late spring we advised on the acquisition of Pronto Delicatessen in Leek.
Jen Goodwin, Director & Head of Corporate at Myers & Co, advised and supported new owner Lisa Gibson on the deal, helping a much‑loved deli move to its next chapter with the right protections in place.

Charity Partnership: North Staffs Prostate Cancer Group Support
Health charities play a vital role in our region, and we’re proud to support the North Staffs Prostate Cancer Group.
Through fundraising and awareness initiatives, we’ve contributed to their mission of improving men’s health and supporting those affected by prostate cancer.
Celebrating Team Development: Jordan Knox Qualifies as a Solicitor
Our people are our greatest asset, and this year we celebrated a major milestone: Jordan Knox qualifying as a Solicitor, which has strengthened our litigation team.
Jordan’s journey reflects our commitment to professional development and excellence. Investing in talent ensures we continue to deliver the high-quality service our clients expect.
