Myers & Co Solicitors in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire are delighted to announce the final figure raised from fundraising activities throughout 2019.
The team have raised a tremendous £3,380 through their efforts – over £1000 more than they raised in 2018!
‘It is an amazing achievement for the team,’ says Office Manager Helen Myers, ‘It has been wonderful to see everyone getting involved in the fundraising events and giving so generously. We really appreciate all the support from our staff and clients.’
In 2018, the team raised £2,240 through the generous support of staff and clients, which went to help charities such as Alice Charity, Alzheimer’s Society and Katherine House Hospice. There was a Wear it Pink event for Breast Cancer Research and a competitive Cycle Challenge for Sport Relief.
But Myers & Co did not slow down in 2019, which was crammed full of more exciting events such as donating Easter eggs to children, dress-down Fridays, duck race sweepstakes, tombolas and festive Christmas Jumper days. With some star bakers on the team, there were also plenty of office bake sales, with all the funds raised going to national and local causes.
Last year, there were some new additions to the list of charities Myers & Co supported, including:
